FOR THE LOVE OF OLIVIA

Having been aware of Olivia Palermo's inspirational style, with the fusion of classic sophistication with edgy city style, however the splendour of her clothing composition has only recently been made clear to me. She mixes high-end designer with high street to creating looks that are fashion and achievable. Sporting various silhouettes, lengths and shapes, and consistently looking effortlessly elegant. It's no wonder she's received titles such as 'Girl of the Month'.

WINTER WEDGE

Have been spotting alot of wedged heels lately, in stores, on the streets, in magazines on the catwalk and have immediately become victim to the platformed goodness. Having not given in to previous wedge trends there must be a reason why these ones prove to be an exception. But its clear! The 'statement' factor of them, the boldness, the uniquity, the artistry of them makes them WINNERS from my perspective.

Designers: Finsk, Acne Atacoma & Osman Yousefzada

High Street: Topshop

1990 WITH CINDY CRAWFORD

Recently I've been looking back at 1990s fashion, particularly looking into the fashion icons/supermodels of this era and found numerous STUNNING images of Cindy Crawford. At her prime time in the 90s the ex-supermodel frequently featured on the covers of VOGUE, People and Cosmopolitan magazines to name a few. She was definately more than a model, but rather a fashion icon, beauty inspiration and role model. Each photograph highlights a different but equally as beautiful image of Crawford concluding that original supermodels will never be forgotten & cannot be compared to those of the 21st Century.

THE SEQUINS OF BALMAIN

Sequins always seem to make a comeback, or maybe they never leave. But they were seen a great deal in Autumn/Winter 2009, on the catwalk, red carpet and on the High Street. They stole the show at London Fashion Week in September but its clear to see that Balmain get's the 'King of Sequins' this season. Seen on the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna and Kate Moss so was clearly on the right track.
